A New Scent Detected

In my nocturnal roamings a new scent is permeating the ground I cover. There have been faint traces of this in the past but now it seems more prevalent. It has a stronger odor of Conservatism than I have noticed before. A larger and ever growing number of citizens seem to be fed up with the liberal, ultra socialist Democrat lunacy now coming out of Washington, threatening to destroy this great nation. There is just as much disgust with what used to be viewed as a: Conservative Republican Party. They are nothing now but weak willed, steam rolled over, kicked around wimps. No fight in them at all for what they have forgotten is right and good for this country. They will not counter back and defend with a vigorous stand against the deceptions, lies, backstabbing and low down trickery of the ultra liberal, socialist Democrat majority now running this country.

A superb opportunity ,with a clear majority, was given the Republicans in 2000 and 2004 to show strong leadership, smaller government, more self responsibility and less government interference in our daily lives and all of this tied together with a strong fiscal policy curtailing out of control spending and Pork projects. A majority with The Presidency, Congress and the Senate all in my party, eureka! my dream since being able to vote years ago but what a hard let down. A Presidencey that was semi liberal, illegal immigrant friendly and trying to play nice with Democrat street fighters and with no leadership or strength at all. Sure, he was good at the defense of our country, I will give him credit for that but otherwise a failing grade. A Congress that evidently thought they were elected to go on a frenzy of wasteful spending, and this spree was unabated by the Senate and George Bush had misplaced his veto pen schmoozing one day with Ted Kennedy. Perhaps the thinking was that being more liberal and free wheeling with the taxpayers money the citizens of this country would keep them in power since they were acting like liberals. WRONG! Has it not occured to them yet, after the last election and being soundly defeated, that is NOT WHAT they were sent to Washington to do? Evidently not! There continues to be a lack of strong leadership or any leadership at all from the Republican party, no policies, nothing. They still continue to be kicked around by the liberals in Washington like yard dogs with no fight at all, how Disgusting.

This scent of Conservatism by the citizens seems to grow stronger but to what conclusion? A third party won't work and yet there is an ever growing frustration, if not pure hatred, for both political parties and the special interest groups influencing decisions that affect us all. The stench of MARXIST SOCIALISM now fouls the air from our present government and the taking of more and more of our freedoms away from us and dictating how we live our lives is frightening..

The true, patriotic, God loving Americans in this country want a change back to the conservative values that have made this country strong and the envy of the world throughout history. It has been the values of our government with it's adherence to our Constitution and Bill of Rights along with our morality, strength, strong leadership and respect for our religious beliefs that made this country what it once was.

By returning to these conservative values with leadership, strength, faith, and a belief that the majority of hard working people of this nation care deeply about what is happening is the only way this once great nation will survive as we know it.

I continue to wander with my nose to the ground and hope the scent grows ever stronger.

When Will It Happen?

In the old Soviet Union, Moscow to be exact right in Red Square, there was a famous prison by the name of Lubyanka. This is where political dissidents were taken to by the KGB, after being spirited from their homes in the dark of night, and then tortured, beaten and thrown into underground dark cells never to be heard from again, if in fact they survived the torture and beatings. .

I fear for this country the way things are currently playing out in this administration we now are under. They have set up a website for people to report any "disinformation" (read dissent) directly to the government over the pending Healthcare policies trying to be forced upon us without any transparency at all by the ultra liberal Democrat controlled Congress. Who determines the meaning of "disinformation?" What little do we as citizens really know of this massive bill since it is constantly being changed and God only knows what the fine print with over 1,000 pages and counting says or can be interpreted. Why do our representatives in Congress not even know what it "really" contains? Because they are too self important and out of touch with the real citizens they are supposed to represent, is why.

Back to the first paragraph of this blog: How long before the United States of America, Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, has in downtown Washington, D.C., with it's underground secret passageways and tunnels, it's own version of Lubyanka Prison for political dissidents?
